Although we are now in 11 resorts and have an ever-expanding team, we started in Courchevel back in 1991. Founded by Sue and Kenny Dickson and Alan Hole, Supreme was the first British owned ski school in Courchevel and these trail blazers helped pave the way for other British and International schools that have opened since.
The founding team were all passionate, highly experienced and fully qualified instructors, so were an instant success with customers, delivering incredible lessons and providing an unforgettable ski holiday!
As the team grew, we were known for being close, made up of family and friends who all wanted to spread their passion for skiing amongst new skiers, young and old! Sue and Kenny worked hard on creating a family feel within the team to ensure the instructors felt valued and in turn, took care of their customers on the slopes. This is an ethos we have continued to follow in our expansion.
Towards the end of 2014 Aaron Tipping, Nick Robinson and Olly Robinson acquired the ski school from Sue and Kenny, with the aim of expanding on the fantastic school that had been built up over the previous 23 years. Continuing Supreme’s reputation for delivering great ski lessons to holiday makers and loyal long-term clients, the new directors made it their goal to inject a breath of fresh air into Supreme Ski School.
Drawing on the experience of the existing instructor team helped the new owners build on Supreme’s success, by really focussing on continuing to deliver a personable, professional service to customers. Some of the enhancements included: reducing the maximum number of skiers in both children’s and adults group lessons; ensuring customers are matched to an instructor that really suits their needs and delivering an amazing service to any customers enquiring for lessons.
After expanding to Val d’Isere and Morzine over 2 years ago, the time is now right to speed up the expansion. As the team grows, we’ve stuck to our ethos of only hiring fun, personable, fully qualified instructors, who speak excellent English and are willing to go the extra mile to delight our customers.
As we open into new ski resorts we have also added new products and services. We run pre-season instructor training in Stubai, Austria, helping the next generation of instructors to pass their qualifications. We have also partnered with The Ski Club of Great Britain to run performance courses for their members.
It’s not only the instructor team that’s expanded either, our office team is also growing and are renowned for their excellent customer service. Our goal is to help make your holiday unforgettable, this starts with your initial enquiry — you can expect a quick and informative response, whether it’s by phone, email or after you have made a booking online. If it’s your first-time skiing, we recommend giving the office a call and we’ll talk you through the best options for you.
